About Oaxaca

Oaxaca, with its vast geography that encompasses mountains, valleys and coasts, offers a natural scenery that has nurtured its native peoples for millennia, reflecting a profound synergy between culture, nature, and spirituality.

Oaxaca, with 9,000 years of Zapotec history, keeps alive the arts and sciences of the bëni gulasa (ancient people) and is the fertile space to hold a psycho-spiritual encounter of energetic transition and material regeneration, giving life to: Innovations and Traditions in the Arts and Sciences of being.

Our meeting will take place at Casa El Encuentro, located on the borders of two communities in Etla, Oaxaca: San Lorenzo Cacaotepec and Santa María Atzompa.

Casa El Encuentro is a space conceived and created by Sven Doehner, built on the ruins of a 17th century hacienda in collaboration with artisans from Macuilxochitl, a community of Zapotec and Mixtec indigenous artists.

Our congress venue is itself an artistic space, which supports the meeting of internal and external realities, with unique spaces for group meetings and individual reflection.
